While working with LBMG Marketing, I was contacted by Monica Castro, aka Tu Chica, to create a complete brand identity for her company called Rio's Place. Rio's Place is the physical location of her company, and it is named after her daughter Rio. The company would provide applied behavioral analysis (ABA) services to children and adults throughout South Florida in addition to mentoring those in pursuit of becoming an ABA. Monica wanted to combine these two services under one umbrella with Rio's Place by Tu Chica.
Overall creative inspiration was the old school Miami Vice feel. Using this look as a spring board, I incorporated the bright and vibrant colors of Miami while putting a fun spin on the brand. I also created a fun library of assorted elements Monica could incorporate into her imagery to tie the brand together.
There was also emphasis placed on blending the Spanish and English language together as part of the marketing collateral as Monica's main demographic are those from Latin-speaking countries. Ultimately, I was able to blend elements from her existing brand of Tu Chica to unite under this main brand of Rio's Place.
I spent time over the course of two weeks generating her brand's logo, creating a multitude of templates for social posts, build out templated pages for a presentation deck, create business cards, letterhead and a flyer to promote her services. It was a lot of work, but it's one of my favorite brands I've designed for. I fell in love with the bright colors and bold imagery of the brand. It was a lot of fun to work with Monica Castro.
